After being qualified as a banker Thomas Müller took his degree at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt am Main and has worked as a lawyer from 2003 to 2005 mainly handling insolvency issues. Between 2005 and 2009 he worked for the Sparkasse Oberhessen (loans department) representing the bank in insolvency proceedings of their corporate clients. From 2009 through 2010 he worked as in-house lawyer of the Genossenschaftsverband e.V., counseling Volks- and Raiffeisenbanken.
Thomas Müller received a post graduate degree in economics (MBA).
